Abstract

The dollar exchange rate in Costa Rica has varied significantly in the last quarter, impacting the country’s economy. The objectives of this article are focused on: Analyze: What has been the fluctuation of the dollar exchange rate in Costa Rica during the last quarter of 2024? What have been the factors that have influenced these fluctuations? And what has been the impact that has generated in the Costa Rican economy? The scope is based on conducting an analysis of the dollar exchange rate specifically for purchase against the Costa Rican colon, analyzing economic factors that have influenced this variation, as well as studying the impact that these fluctuations have caused in the Costa Rican economy.
