Abstract

[IA3.1]Social leadership is a fundamental axis in the change and transformation of Latin American societies, particularly in contexts marked by structural inequalities and institutional limitations. This study examines five key dimensions: leadership affirmation, immediate impact, sustainability, legacy, and impact measurement. It is argued that effective social leadership is not defined by visibility or the number of actions carried out, but by its ability to generate structural, sustainable, and verifiable changes within its environment. Based on a comparative analysis that includes experiences from Costa Rica, Honduras, Panama, and Colombia, it becomes evident that the most robust forms of leadership transcend the individual figure and are consolidated as collective leadership processes. The study concludes that outstanding social leadership integrates ethical coherence, organizational sustainability, and empirical evidence of the changes generated.
