Abstract

Digital literacy is a fundamental pillar in teacher training, as it involves the critical and responsible use of information in digital environments. It fosters inclusive pedagogical practices and prepares students to actively participate in a constantly changing digital society. Its incorporation into both initial and ongoing teacher education is essential to address the challenges of digitalization, reduce gaps, and promote a balanced use of technology, ensuring sustainable and well-being-oriented educational environments.
