Abstract

This article explores the crucial need to re-center the human person in the age of artificial intelligence. It argues that while AI offers numerous advantages, there is a risk of human essence being overshadowed. Through a reflective analysis, the importance of human dignity as a fundamental principle to guide the development and application of AI is highlighted. The essential role of education in fostering a conscious and ethical use of these technologies is underscored, promoting the integral development of individuals and a more equitable society, where artificial intelligence serves as a tool for humanization rather than dehumanization.
