While it is true that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is not something new, just like many technologies have been developing for years and just when we have them at the door of our homes we do not know whether to give it entrance or simply attend it in the outskirts, then: Are we prepared to incorporate these advances in our day to day and thus open the door to our homes? Costa Rican education faces an unprecedented challenge, we have to appropriate the word responsibility for the integration of AI in the teaching and learning processes. This paper analyzes the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Costa Rican education, based on interviews and episodes of the podcast #TéDigital. A qualitative methodology based on content analysis was used. Each of the podcasts was key to the creation of this paper. In general, it is concluded that a flexible pedagogical approach, focused on co-creation and digital literacy, is necessary to take advantage of the potential of AI in education.
