Teaching skills of the teaching students at San Marcos University

In the Fourth Industrial Revolution, the professionalization of skills will be the key to ensure employability. Education plays an essential role. Educators must develop enough competences. Objective: Knowing which are the teaching skills that the teaching students of the San Marcos University possess, from the desired profile of the educator in the curricular transformation of Costa Rica. Non-experimental/transactional studies with a phenomenological approach to the participants about their self-perception. Results: perception that they are competences in basic skills, but the more specific competencies such as: the use of a second language, universal design or the appropriate use of the program of their specialty are not yet developed skill.
